Following the birth of her second bub almost three years ago now, Rachel was seeking a new + creative outlet. She practised a lot of patience, and there was quite a lot of trial and error to find what this “new + creative outlet” would be. One day though, ‘it’ found her. She was down in Gerringong, a little coastal town south of Sydney, away on holiday purchasing a beautiful bunch of flowers as a gift for her Mother In Law. As she entered the local florist shop, a deep seeded + buried dream came to the surface + it was at that very moment, that her future changed forever. Within a day, she had booked daycare for her little ladies + a spot at one of Australia’s most exclusive Flower Schools, Pearson's School of Floristry in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
Rachel Mills is the Proud Founder + Florist of The Posy Project. From 2015, Rachel has run a successful flower delivery business from her home Studio in Springfield - where all the magic happens. The aim of The Posy Project has always been to provide striking florals + unique gifts, but to also make the process of ordering flowers online as enjoyable + easy as possible.
The floral journey continues .... after the birth of her third bub, and some well used maternity leave, Rachel has decided to use her work time to do exactly what she loves - because life is way to short to do anything else. She's combined her love for people, passion for flowers and a glass of bubbly to bring fun filled flower workshops to you, in the comfort of your own home or a venue of your choice.

Her big dream for The Posy Project, is to create + deliver an amazing floral workshop to at least one house in every suburb on the Central Coast.
